ENTRY FORMS

In early June of each year you can enter On-line or download the Entry Form from the Website and post to the "Moro Marathon, P O Box 5378, Moray Place, Dunedin, New Zealand". They will also be available from The Frontrunner, Sport Otago on 0800 776 786 or postal enquiries can be made to P O Box 5378, Moray Place, Dunedin, New Zealand.

ENTRY FEES

Full Marathon $50.00(tbc)

Half Marathon $45.00(tbc)

Recreational Walk $35.00(tbc)

$5.00 discount for Registered Athletes.

All "FEES" are non-refundable.

$30.00 (tbc) late entry fee after the 20th August.

All entries close at 4.00 pm - Saturday 8th September.

NO LATE ENTRIES ON RACE DAY - SUNDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER.

FINISHING ON TIME

It is very important that all competitors are well prepared to take on the distance that they have entered. To assist you please refer to the Training Schedules. It is also important that you are capable of finishing the course by 1.00pm. Refer to Time Limit and FAQ - Question 6.

RACE PACKS

You are able to pick up Race Packs and Late Entries can be made at the Otago Polytechnic "G Block Building" between Forth Street and Harbour Terrace, North Dunedin, at the following times : Friday 7 September, 4.00pm to 8.00pm; Saturday 8 September 10.00am to 4.00pm; Sunday 9 September race day, from 6.00am. Entries close at 4.00pm on Saturday 8 September.

NB: No Late Entries accepted on Race Day.

ELECTRONIC TIMING

Electronic Timing will be use to record all competitors race time. Race Packs will include a Transponder and Ankle Band which competitors must wear during the event. They will be removed by officials after crossing the Finish Line. FULL INSTUCTIONS WILL BE INCLUDED IN RACE PACKS.

AGE LIMITS

We will not accept entries from those under the age of 12 years. The Full Marathon is open to all persons 18 years and over on race day. The Half Marathon is open to all persons, those under the age of 16 years will require to have written consent from a parent or guardian. This must accompany their Entry Form.

LATE ENTRIES

The official closing date for all entries is Monday, 20th August 2012. Entries after this date will incur a late entry fee of $30.00 (tbc). Late entries can be made at the Otago Polytechnic "G Block Building", Friday 7 September; 4.00pm to 8.00pm, Saturday; 8 September 10.00am to 4.00pm. "Online Entries" will close at midnight 3rd September. NO LATE ENTRIES TAKEN ON SUNDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER (RACE DAY).

SAFETY AND SUPPORTERS

All competitors enter at their own risk. Road detours will be in place and full details will be in the Race Booklet in your Race Pack. Supporters are urged to contribute to a safe and enjoyable event by, if possible, minimize the volume of traffic to Port Chalmers, arrive early, secure a park and then make their way to the finish at Watson Park. No parking will be allowed on Watson Park. Parking in Albertson Avenue will be limited.
