2011 Race Reports
It was going to be a weekend of "running and rugby". The 2011 Moro Marathon held on Sunday 11 September was to benefit from the very large number of international visitors in Dunedin for the Saturday night rugby between Argentina and England. Among the 2,039 entries were competitors from Australia, Malaysia, Canada, USA, Germany, and of course England and Argentina. Entries in the Full Marathon were to equal the 2010 numbers at 239. The Half Marathon drew 1,197 and the Recreational Walk, 603. Overcast conditions were the order of the day.
Congratulations to the winners of the 2011 Moro Marathon
